Not-for-Profit Senior Living and Health Care Organization Serves 2,500 Older Adults Across the National Capital Region
(Alexandria, VA) June 13, 2023 – Fitch Ratings reviewed and affirmed Goodwin Living™ rating of BBB+ with a stable outlook. Goodwin Living is a not-for-profit and faith-based senior living and health care services organization in the National Capital Region.
“Fitch’s action to reaffirm our BBB+ demonstrates Goodwin Living’s operational and financial strengths, and our continued and sustainable mission growth,” said Xan Smith, Goodwin Living Chief Financial Officer. “Goodwin Living continues to expand our mission and services in the Northern Virginia area serving more than 2,500 older adults daily while achieving a Washington Post Top Workplace ranking for the last five consecutive years.”
One of the “Big Three” credit rating agencies, Fitch undertakes comprehensive reviews as well as periodic paper reviews. This spring, Fitch conducted a paper review of Goodwin Living and reaffirmed BBB+. The key rating factors include revenue defensibility, operating risk and financial profile.
