Although we specialize in geriatric care, all of our services, including hospice care, outpatient therapy services and home health care, are offered to adults 18 and older.
Yes, all Goodwin Living outpatient therapy services, hospice care and in-home health care are Medicare-certified.
These services are available both at our communities and in patients’ homes. Hospice care is provided at both Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads and Goodwin House Alexandria Life Plan communities, at The View Alexandria, as well as in private homes and health care facilities throughout Northern Virginia.
We serve home health care patients who reside in the City of Alexandria and in the following counties: Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William. Our hospice program serves residents throughout Northern Virginia within the Beltway.
We offer a variety of physical, occupational and speech language therapy options, as well as specialized services for Parkinson’s disease.
Non-Goodwin Living residents can receive in-home health care. This includes therapy services, a home health aide to help with bathing and grooming, and skilled nursing care. Please call us at 703.824.1390 to learn more about how we can assist you.

Goodwin Hospice Care delivers services covered under Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance plans. Your financial responsibility is determined by the carrier and type of insurance you have.
