During this time of increased financial need, the Goodwin Living Foundation is focusing our efforts on doing all we can to help through the Staff Support Fund. As Rob Liebreich, our CEO, says, “because of our mission and who we are, we will always lean in as far as we can to support one another, especially in times of need.”
Excellence begins with employees who feel supported and have opportunities to grow. Our financial assistance programs for team members include need-based grants, as well as initiatives for educational and professional development. And because one in three employees does not yet hold U.S. citizenship, we support them by offering grants to cover the $725 citizenship application fee.
We believe no resident should be asked to leave because of a lack of financial resources. That’s a commitment we made in 1967, and it’s a commitment we’ve kept through Resident Support Fund, which provides confidential financial assistance. The Foundation also offers educational seminars on financial issues and planning, so residents, families and employees can learn how to protect and grow their assets.
Philanthropy is a core value of Goodwin Living. That’s why we established the Goodwin Living Foundation in 1989. As a 501(c)(3) organization, our foundation supports residents, our colleagues and their families. We provide help in the face of financial difficulties and to achieve educational and professional goals.
