(Alexandria, VA) March 19, 2025 – Fitch Ratings reviewed and affirmed Goodwin Living™ rating of BBB+ with a stable outlook. Goodwin Living is a not-for-profit, faith-based senior living and health care services organization in the National Capital Region.
“We are pleased that Fitch has once again affirmed a BBB+ rating for Goodwin Living,” said Xan Smith, Goodwin Living Chief Financial Officer. “This rating recognizes our strong balance sheet, strong occupancy across all levels of living and solid cash flow, all of which we continue to achieve in the competitive Northern Virginia market that we operate in.”
One of the “Big Three” credit rating agencies, Fitch undertakes comprehensive reviews as well as periodic paper reviews. Fitch conducted a paper review of Goodwin Living and reaffirmed BBB+ rating. The key rating factors include revenue defensibility, operating risk and financial profile.
