Home care and home health have some similarities, but are very different. Home care provides a personal caregiver that gives hands-on care to elderly adults, so they may live comfortably and safely in their home. Home care is also private pay. Home health provides clinical care for those that are homebound while recovering from an illness, injury, surgery or have a chronic medical condition and requires a doctor’s order.
Please call us at 703.578.7108, and our hospice care team will work with you to create an individualized hospice plan, depending on your family member’s needs.
