In March 2025, Forest Hills of DC and Goodwin Living announced an affiliation with the goal of bringing more resources, programming and investment to uplift the lives of Forest Hills residents and team members. Under the terms of the affiliation, Goodwin Living will assume responsibility for the successful operations and service of Forest Hills.
Forest Hills of DC is a not-for-profit retirement community located in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Washington, DC, and has a 135-year history of providing high quality care to seniors, including assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care.
The affiliation comes after a nearly year-long management services agreement with Goodwin Living to help Forest Hills better ensure a strong and vibrant future. The common histories, culture and commitment to resident quality of life and team members proved to richly unite the two mission-driven, not-for-profit organizations. The combined strength of Forest Hills and Goodwin Living over the last year has resulted in increased occupancy, investments in common areas and resident apartments and enhanced amenities and programming for residents.
