This June, we received news worth celebrating: Goodwin Living has once again been named one of The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces in the D.C. region! We earned the #3 ranking in the largest company category for 2025.
This marks the seventh consecutive year that Goodwin Living has appeared on the list. It reflects our ongoing commitment to building a workplace where people feel supported, empowered and proud of the work they do. Earlier this year, USA Today also named Goodwin Living one of the #13 Top Workplaces in the United States, placing us among the very best organizations nationwide.
What makes these honors truly meaningful is that they come from the voices of our team members. These rankings are based entirely on anonymous feedback in a confidential survey gathered by a third party, Energage. The confidential survey captures how team members experience our workplace culture, alignment, connection and purpose. We are proud to share this recognition and even prouder of the people behind it.
A Workplace Where Team Members Feel Valued
Chelsea Moseley, a Goodwin Rehabilitation physical therapist who has worked at Goodwin Living for more than three years, was one of several team members who attended the Top Workplaces awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. this June. For Chelsea, the recognition affirms the culture she experiences every day at work.
“Goodwin Living is a top workplace because I genuinely feel a sense of community here,” Chelsea said. “I come to work daily knowing that what I do is valued and appreciated, not only by our residents, but by my coworkers and teammates. The connections I have made here will always be something I cherish.”

From Floor Tech to Team Leader
Daren Campbell also joined the celebration, representing Goodwin House Alexandria. He began his journey with Goodwin Living in 2019 as a Floor Tech. Today, he serves as an Environmental Services Team Leader, a role that reflects both his growth and the opportunities available at Goodwin Living.
“The list of reasons that makes Goodwin Living a Top Workplace can go on and on,” Daren said. “But it’s the loving atmosphere, shared from staff to residents, that genuinely, from the heart, separates Goodwin Living from other workplaces. To me, it’s like having a home away from home.”

Celebrating the Team Behind the Mission
Chelsea and Daren joined fellow team members from across departments, campuses and service lines to attend the awards ceremony and represent the more than 1,450 individuals who make Goodwin Living what it is today. Every person who shows up ready to serve with compassion and purpose is part of what makes this workplace strong.
Each year, we continue this journey together, building a culture rooted in mutual respect, professional growth and genuine joy.

A Top Workplace Is Worth Celebrating
After the ceremony, we brought the celebration back home. Across our campuses and service areas, team members marked the occasion with photos, smiles and a shared sense of pride. Whether it was a cupcake party or a simple team shoutout, the celebrations reflected just how meaningful this recognition is to the people who make it possible.
