Three culinary team members stepped up to the plate last week for the 2026 Goodwin House Bailey`s Crossroads Culinary Championship. 🏆🍽️
The competition gave our team members an opportunity to showcase their cooking skills, creativity and passion for great food, all while maintaining excellent service for our residents.
Our resident judges had the tough and delicious task of evaluating each dish across five categories: Taste, Presentation, Creativity, Vegetarian Alternative and Resident Appeal.

This week, our Management Team had the privilege of visiting the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, VA.
During the visit, our team toured the prayer spaces and library, enjoyed a traditional spread of dates, desserts, hummus and pita, and engaged in a thoughtful Q&A session to deepen our understanding of the Muslim faith and community.
