Alexandria, VA – Goodwin Living™, a faith-based, not-for-profit, senior living and healthcare services organization in the National Capital Region, announced the appointment of David Taylor as the newly created role of Vice President of Sales. In this role, Taylor is responsible for ensuring strong occupancy at all current Goodwin Living senior living campuses and successfully launching future campuses that welcome older adults to benefit from the Goodwin Living mission to support, honor and uplift older adults.
“Following a national search, David stood out for his proven success in achieving and sustaining high levels of occupancy at existing campuses and in leasing up new campuses ahead of budget and schedule,” said Lindsay Hutter, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer. “We are particularly grateful that David understands our market, different types of financial models in our field and especially the life care, entrance fee model in senior living that he is familiar with from his prior tenure at Goodwin Living. We are excited to welcome David, who has a heart for older adults, back to the Goodwin Living family in this new role.”
Goodwin Living currently owns and operates three senior living communities: Goodwin House Alexandria, Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads and The View Alexandria. In March of this year, faith-based, not for profit Forest Hills of DC affiliated with Goodwin Living. Goodwin Living is also in the early stages of developing a new life care, entrance fee community in the west end of Alexandria, adjacent to The View Alexandria, and has plans for a future community in Loudoun County.

Taylor brings 15 years’ experience in sales to his new role. He previously served Goodwin Living as Director of Marketing for Goodwin House Alexandria from 2014-2017. Most recently he served as Director of Sales for Woodleigh Chase, where he led the ground-up sales efforts for the new community, exceeding pre-sales goals ahead of schedule. Taylor is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Studies.
