Alexandria, Va. – The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce has named Goodwin Living Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer Lindsay Hutter as a 2025 40 Over 40 Award recipient. The 40 Over 40 Awards highlight accomplished individuals who have made extraordinary contributions across industries and throughout the Alexandria community. Launched in conjunction with the tenth class of its well-known 40 Under 40 program, the 40 Over 40 awards program was designed these awards to honor those who demonstrated a sustained commitment to Alexandria over an extended period of time.

“Lindsay brings an inspiring combination of vision, compassion and dedication to her work at Goodwin Living and in the Alexandria community,” said Rob Liebreich, President & CEO of Goodwin Living. “Her leadership has helped us grow in ways that honor our mission and expand our impact, and we are thrilled to see her recognized among Alexandria’s most outstanding changemakers.”
Hutter joined Goodwin Living in 2017. In her role as Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer, she leads the organization’s strategic direction, guiding initiatives in branding, growth, communications and community engagement. A seasoned leader with expertise in marketing and communications, change management and market innovation, Hutter has held executive roles in a variety of organizations including the global strategic communications and public relations firm Hill & Knowlton and the global trade association for the convenience store and petroleum marketing industry, NACS. She earned her B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Kansas and her M.A. in Political Science from Northwestern University.
Deeply inspired by parents who modeled a lifelong commitment to service, Hutter brings the same “leave everything better than you found it” mindset to her work in Alexandria. She has chaired The Campagna Center Board, currently serves as Strategic Planning Chair for the Carpenter’s Shelter Board of Directors and championed the expansion of Goodwin Living senior living and healthcare options to serve thousands more older adults. Known for her “all-in” approach, she continues to make a lasting impact in both her professional role and her volunteer service to Alexandria.
”It is humbling to be honored alongside so many remarkable leaders who have contributed to Alexandria and are in the inaugural 40 Over 40 class of honorees,” said Hutter. “This honor is dedicated to my parents who taught my brother and me by their encouragement and their example what it means to be a life-long community servant.”
The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 40 Over 40 honorees at a dedicated event on August 21. Watch the video they produced to showcase the honorees here.
