Internships with a purpose
At Goodwin Living, many departments and service lines work together to provide high-quality care to older adults on our campuses and in other senior living communities and private homes throughout Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. These teams offer many non-clinical opportunities for interns to learn and make meaningful contributions. We offer paid non-clinical internships in Life Enrichment, Brain Health, Finance, Marketing & Communications and more.

2024 TOP EMPLOYER FOR INTERNS
For the second year in a row, the Goodwin Living Internship Program has been named a Virginia top employer for interns. The interns who have gone through our program have enjoyed enriching, life-changing experiences. Now we have the official statewide recognition to prove it.

Benefits of interning with
Goodwin Living
As an intern, you develop meaningful relationships with residents of our senior living campuses and members of Goodwin Living At Home. By sharing stories, dreams and interests, residents and interns change each other’s lives.
You will also have the opportunity to attend professional development workshops led by senior leaders in our organization. These sessions will build your career skills and offer opportunities for networking. Past session topics include resume building, interview practice and public speaking and communication.
From day one you will make substantive contributions to your team. Past intern projects have included developing and running activities with residents, writing for the Goodwin Living blog, creating videos and managing our social media accounts.
