“My parents taught me to lean into life, and to honor and serve those around you. For all of my father’s 94 years of life and all of my mother’s nearly 97 years of life, they inspired me by encouraging those around them and making life better for everyone they knew. I see that same unselfish spirit among our members and residents. They give, they share, they nurture. My joy is casting a light on these amazing individuals and their contributions to our society.”
Lindsay Hutter leads strategic efforts to fulfill and expand the Goodwin Living mission. She also oversees our branding, marketing and communications efforts, ensuring current and future residents, members, employees and guests feel warmly welcomed and well informed. “Each day I put on my Goodwin Living name badge, I try to honor the bold, creative and generous people who had the idea to create a community called Goodwin Living: one committed to support, honor and uplift the lives of older adults and those who serve alongside them. When I explain what I do, I usually begin with equating philanthropy to the joy of giving. Giving is how we share our values, our beliefs and our hopes for the world. And it’s fun!”
