Your story is a part of ours
Goodwin Living was established in 1967 out of a holistic plan to serve older adults. Since then, we’ve remained true to our mission to support, honor and uplift the lives of older adults and those who care for them. We’ve expanded our reach from traditional senior living campuses to Living At Home, Home Health and more. We established the Goodwin Living Foundation to further our mission through generosity, and furthered our efforts in Brain Health. We are constantly looking for new ways to better the lives of all those we serve through purpose, comfort and care.

It’s our team that’s led us to the top
Goodwin Living is a Washington Post Top Workplace in the Washington-area seven consecutive years in which it has competed for this honor. Additionally, we consistently rank within the top 13 organizations receiving a Top Workplaces USA designation. How have we consistently earned this distinction? By having a team that puts their heart into everything they do.
Goodwin Living Foundation
Serving our mission through generosity
We believe everyone is sacred and deserves the chance to thrive in their own way. That’s why the Goodwin Living Foundation was established to further our mission of supporting, honoring, and uplifting the lives of older adults and those who care for them. In addition, it provides financial security to residents and enables team members to thrive in their careers. The generous support from our donors has also afforded us the chance to create unique offerings such as our music therapy and animal therapy programs.

Community Engagement
Our whole heart in the whole community
Goodwin Living is not an island. Our residents, members and team are deeply connected to the world around us. As an organization committed to expanding the opportunities for older adults, we actively nurture and support our external community. Through creative, financial, spiritual and health-focused initiatives, we partner with organizations that share our mission.

Our Team
Living and leading the mission
With over 1,450+ team members who come from more than 65 countries, Goodwin Living is diverse, inclusive and dynamic. Bringing together different perspectives, cultures, and backgrounds, makes Goodwin Living a welcoming place of belonging, and a home for unique ideas that help us make lives better.
